![]() ![]() I took a quick look at smart Lighting results and didn't like it, but I'll try it some more with a few different scenes. Only bother with the individual controls if still needed after it. My default for it is 60, higher than the norm. You should use that control first of all. However, I'm always open to new things if they work well. ![]() ![]() I typically avoid those for exposure and color. I didn't look at that because it appears to be an automatic adjustment. Have you made full use of the Smart Lighting control? PureRaw 6? I’m not familiar with that product. Maybe I'm just too accustomed to Lightroom sliders. I'll check out the black again, but it was pretty bad. Pretty much all of the exposure sliders were unusable. It does brighten the entire image slightly, but mainly the blacks. I would try a couple of other photos with the blacks slider. The main problem is the highlights slider, which darkens the entire image to much. Its sliders aren't the best, although the blacks are actually one of the good ones. Just curious whether this is common behavior, or am I possibly missing something in configuration? Maybe it's an issue with the specific camera support (Panasonic gh6)? I've been using curves instead, which is fine. For example, as I slide the black slider it barely affects the black areas, then suddenly brightens the entire image. They don't seem to be calibrated correctly. The thing I dislike is the exposure sliders. I've been trying out PureRaw 6 and really like many of the features, especially the NR. ![]()
